Well here it is day one of my weight loss journey! I discovered a VERY handy tool to assist me with my weight watchers plan. I have downloaded an App on to my iphone called iWatchr. Its a daily food log and points calculator all in one! It is sooo helpful, as I always have my phone with me, and so no matter where I am I can log my food intake as well as look up points values. Sweet! Another awesome feature is it calculates your points for you and even puts the current point number on the front icon, so all I have to do is glance at my iphone to see how many points I’ve already eaten!  It will even calculate your exercise points. Seriously, it doesn’t get any easier than this App!

 

 now on to the days nitty gritty:

 

Breakfast: 

1 banana – 1 point

2 scrambled eggs – 5 points

1 slice wheat bread – 1.5 points

 

Lunch:

1 Pita bread – 3 points

shredded romaine lettuce – 0 points

2 tbsp salad dressing – .6 points

 

Snacks:

1 orange – 1 point

 1 coke – (Needed to use my last 2 points!)

Dinner:

 1 baked chicken breast – 6 points

1/2 cup seasoned rice – 5 points

1/2 cup corn – 1 point

Water intake:  still needs work!

 

Exercise:

I cleaned all the carpets in my house for several hours. I broke a sweat for sure! I had quite a work out today

 

attitude:

All in all a good day! I stayed busy today so it was pretty easy to not sit and eat all day. I enjoyed what I did eat. love that I still got to have my carbs! I think I am starting to get sick :(  I hope not, as that will throw a wrench in my exercise plan. I found myself wanting to reach for chips out of habit, but I quickly reminded myself that was a no-no! Really need to get them out of the house! I am happy for myself for getting back in the saddle of eating fruit!
